Once you put your Maytag Bravos washer into diagnostic Mode, the washer may display some fault codes depending on what has failed  (what you need to check).

Error code F0E2

Meaning: Oversuds detected, and also the washer is unable to fix the problem automatically

Recommended troubleshooting procedure

Change to HE detergent (as recommended).

Stop putting too much detergent- the issue can occur due to excessive detergent usage.

Check the pressure hose connection (from the tub to the main control)- you want to see if the hose is pinched/kinked/plugged/leaking air (and fix it depending on what you notice).

Check the basket and the drive mechanism for mechanical friction (perhaps you’ll find some cloth items between the basket and the tub).

Error code F0E3

Meaning: Overloading detected (a load size bigger than the washer’s capacity detected OR basket cannot turn)

Remove excess laundry and then restart the wash cycle.

Check the basket and the drive mechanism for mechanical friction (perhaps you’ll find some cloth items between the basket and the tub).

Error code F0E4

Meaning: Spin limited fault due to the water temperature is too high for a proper spin.

Meaning: Inlet water temp problem (inlet thermistor has remained detected as open or shorted).

Check hot and cold water valves- confirm if cold and also hot water remains dispensed.

Means: Heater is stuck ON(when it’s supposed to be OFF)

Recommended troubleshooting procedure

Test if the heater is operating properly- test the resistance of heater element (abnormal=infinity).

Error code F4E2

Meaning: When the heater is turned ON, it is not Turning On(the control is not able to detect the heater is turned ON)

Meaning: Lid switch fault (the lid is in lock state, but the lid switch is opened).

Meaning: Lid Lock won’t lock or it has failed completely
